10.00 | Arrive at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, a large open zoo in Chonburi Province. It is the only forested area in the province, covering more than 5,000 rai. The zoo has restored the degraded forest of Khao Kheow, allowing everyone to enjoy viewing over 300 species of animals. |
11.30 | Depart for the restaurant. |
12.00 | Enjoy lunch at Lung Sawai Seafood Restaurant. |
13.30 | Depart for Nong Mon Market. |
14.40 | Arrive at Nong Mon Market, a famous souvenir market in Chonburi. It is filled with a wide variety of seafood and souvenirs. The well-known products include “Khao Lam” (sticky rice in bamboo), “Khanom Chak” (sweet sticky rice cake), “Kalamae” (Thai caramel), fresh palm juice, Thai sweets, and various processed seafood such as salted fish, dried fish, dried shrimp, dried squid, shrimp paste, as well as local dishes like steamed fish curry (Hor Mok), deep-fried crab meat rolls (Hoi Jo), fish cakes (Tod Mun), and skewered fish patties (Jang Lon). You can freely shop for these items. |
